Then, after arriving at home after a shopping trip, the panel participants post-register their purchases. This typically consists of various steps, such scanning all bought products and then manually entering date and place of purchase, and manually entering prices and quantities for all products. Sometimes some of the steps are using different kind of devices, and at the end you normally upload everthing as a final step. Sounds time consuming and error prone?

What we’ve done is to combine the Grosh grocery shopping list app with the post-registration process and made one simple solution covering both. No more post-registering as all data is collected during shopping.
The consumer scans everything being bought and this automatically crosses out matching items on the shopping list at the same time. The app also prompts the user to verify quantity and price. The app automatically collects location, store name, time, sequence of items bought just as the normal Grosh app does. Everything is stored for download from our servers in a structured format, ready to be integrated into the agency own systems.
