How does it compare to normal purchase of app banners?

With Facebook and AdWords advertising, you spend time finding keywords and segmenting users to find your target audience. With Grosh you avoid this – you automatically target families with high grocery consumption as that’s the core audience for Grosh.

If this is your audience too, you will spend less money, as we’re eliminating the middleman and offering you banners much cheaper than in the traditional channels.

Expect approx 0.5% click through rate (CTR) for an attriactive banner image relevant to the app target audience. This means a click price of about 0.2EUR/click based on our price of 1EUR/1000 views. That’s less than 10% of the regular click price in the traditional channels.

If there are many other advertisers in Grosh, the ad price does not go up, your campaigned period is just stretched over longer time.

Context sensitive auto-generated banners

As a retailer, you can attract attention to your store’s offers

You can manage the offers directly from the Grosh app, or upload them from a spreadsheet

Grosh generates banners with relevant offers, based on the user’s current shopping list

Tap banner opens bubble e.g. Do you want to mark Butter with “Little” and “1.99”?

After this, the user is reminded to visit your store to buy the item whenever they open the app

Traditional image based banners

Lets Brands inform and influence consumers

Ideal for Brands wanting to promote their products to grocery shoppers in general

You can manage the ads directly from the Grosh app, or upload them from a spreadsheet

Grosh shows your banners to users in the specified country

App registers when banner is tapped and opens up web browser with a website of your choice with additional information

How does it work?

For all non-premium users of Grosh, a banner is displayed every 30 seconds (Premium users pay not to see ads)

The system logs each display and banner click

You will be provided with a login to follow the total number of displays and clicks. You can also track inbound clicks from Grosh by adding a parameter to your URL e.g. source=grosh

When the spending budget is exhausted, the banner will be disabled. For example, in Denmark we currently have about 1 million banner displays for sale per month, so 1000EUR buys them all.

Here’s what the advertisers say:

“We just ran a campaign on Grosh. The app is a good platform for food-related advertising at a very attractive price.” Carsten Pahlke, CEO, Osuma

“Was trying to sell our family car with no results. After a few days with Grosh banners, the car was sold.” Søren, private
