It serves you with energy prices, predicts your solar panel production, and suggests optimal charging timeslots, often you can charge your car for FREE with SolarCharge

Even without solar panels, you can start planning days ahead using the unique energy price prediction (selected countries)

The app show the electricity price for your area (selected countries)

The app stores previous electricity prices in your area as well as past weather conditions affecting sustainable electricity production in your area

Based on the above, the app predicts upcoming electricity prices and lets you plan ahead when to charge from the grid (e.g. in winter when own solar production is low)

Weather forecast

Indicate where your home is and the app will know which weather data to fetch

The app shows a 5 day weather forecast, with focus on parameters that affect your solar production

Now you will always know when there’s going to be sun for your solar panels

Energy production & Predictions

If you have solar panel system, you can enter its power generation numbers

The app stores past local weather conditions affecting your solar panel production

Based on the above, the app predicts upcoming power generation numbers and lets you plan ahead when you can charge your electric car for FREE

When to charge

You can plan when you want to charge in the app, and it will notify you when it’s time to start and end charging

If you’ve got solar panels, you can plan your charging by looking the production predictions

Otherwise or if solar panel production is low, you can plan your charging based on the energy price predictions

With premium, the app automatically scans energy prices and production predictions to find the best timeslots for charging

With premium, the app can fetch EV data automatically as well as automatically send charging commands (selected electric cars)

Data, privacy, and sharing

It’s your data, and we use them for nothing, but to provide you access to past data, make production predictions, and make charging suggestions

If you want to, you can invite other users to access to the estate you’ve setup in SolarCharge, including viewing associated weather, energy prices, electricity production, and charging data

If you’ve hooked up inverter and electric car integrations, passwords / tokens need to be re-entered before the other user can use them
